Alcalá Club

We are a close-knit group of passionate USD students from diverse backgrounds, united by our commitment to service and pride in the university. Each of us brings unique interests and goals, reflecting the richness of USD’s student body.

What We Do

Service

Alcalá Club serves as official representatives of the University of San Diego in conjunction with the office of the president. We have the privilege of serving the USD community by acting as the liaisons between USD and guests who visit the campus. Members of the Alcalá Club work at various university-sponsored activities and functions.

Each member supports four or more events per semester, ranging from fundraisers and graduation ceremonies to donor receptions, campus celebrations, Masses, and grand openings. At these events, Alcalá Club members engage with a wide range of guests, including VIPs and distinguished alumni.

Teambuilding

Alcalá Club is more than a club — it’s a family. Over our three years of service to USD, lifelong bonds are formed through shared experiences and team-building activities. From beach days and ice skating to brunches and service activities, we grow together both on and off campus.

Mentorship

Alcalá Club equips members with essential life skills that translate directly into the professional world. Through etiquette training, professional development, and mentor-mentee relationships, members grow into confident, capable, and career-ready individuals.
