International Applicants

The University of San Diego is proud to welcome international students to our campus. USD hosts international students and scholars from more than 70 countries around the world.

All international students who need to obtain an F-1 or J-1 visa must provide proof of the funding for educational and living expenses. Once you are admitted, and have submitted the deposit required by your program, you will be instructed on how to submit your passport and official bank document verifying the availability of funds. Please locate the estimate of expenses requirements by selecting the school or college below.

Married students accompanied by their families will need to document availability of an additional $800.00 per month for their spouse, $300.00 per month for one child, and $200.00 per month for each additional dependent. The academic year consists of 9 months.
