Internationalization
Implementation of this initiative is well underway. With the founding of the International Center and appointment of Carl Jubran as Associate Provost for Internationalization, scattered programs are now being coordinated and new ones are being planned.
Two advisory groups provide guidance on the direction and implemention of international programs. The International Center Advisory Council, composed of faculty, staff and administrators representing the six academic units and student life, advises the associate provost and center staff on all international efforts. The International Studies Abroad Committee is composed of faculty involved in international studies who review and advise the associate provost on matters pertaining to studies abroad.
The center develops and maintains the International Gateway Web site, linked from USD's home page, to provide information about programs, activities, and services to constituents on and off campus.
