Alcala Vista Apartments

Alcala Vista Apartments consist of six, separate, three-story structures. A colonnaded bride at each floor, in effect providing three complexes, connects every two structures: Laguna Hall, Cuyamaca Hall and Palomar Hall. The complexes of Laguna Hall and Cuyamaca Hall are identical and each contain 47 two-bedroom and seven one-bedroom apartments. The first floor of the smaller structure of Palomar Hall contains a large laundry room, conference room, study rooms and offices and serves as the reception for the entire apartment complex. The rest of Palomar yields 40 two-bedroom and seven one-bedroom apartments. These structures very successfully emulate the Spanish Renaissance Revival style.
