Transfer & Promotion
We encourage our employees to grow and learn new skills, and take advantage of opportunities for promotion. Current employees who are interested in transfers or career growth may apply for open positions for which they are qualified.
Employees may make confidential inquiries about job opportunities in other departments. However, once a formal application has been submitted and the employee has been identified as a possible candidate by the hiring department, the hiring supervisor may contact human resources to review the personnel file of the candidate, and they may check references.
To search or apply for jobs on campus, utilize the USD Employee Self Service function in Oracle by following these steps:
- Click on http://oracleapps.sandiego.edu and enter your username and password.
- Click on USD Employee Self Service
- Click “Jobs”
- From this page you can search for jobs and update your account.
