Curriculum Plan the Clinical Nursing Program

The Clinical Nursing (CN) track prepares registered nurses to provide direct patient care and oversee the care coordination of a distinct group of patients. The MSN degree in Clinical Nursing requires completion of 30 academic units. A minimum of two semesters is needed for full-time study. Course sequence for full-time students is outlined below. Part-time study is also available.

Fall Semester, Year One

APNC 520 Pathophysiology 3 units
MSNC 511 Evidence Based Practice: Role of Theory and Research 3 units
MSNC 534 Clinical Nursing Leadership: Theory and Practice 6 units

Spring Semester, Year One
