Elissa Haddad’s experience encompasses a strong teaching background and a range of consulting expertise. Dr. Haddad has taught both in the Leadership Minor and in the Master of Arts in Leadership program. She consulted on various projects including work with the Conscious Leadership Academy and the San Diego Diplomacy Council. Elissa’s dissertation research examined the individual and cultural factors that may have contributed to the success of the Lebanese diaspora in the United States.

Prior to starting the PhD program, Elissa obtained a Masters degree from the School of Business at the University of San Diego. Dr. Haddad worked in the financial services industry and held multiple trading, advisory and insurance licenses. She also served four years in the United States Navy at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station in Washington State. Elissa is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
