The USD Manage Area is a series of systems, tools, and applications that deliver database-driven content throughout the USD website. The following are available for both 1.0 and 2.0 websites, except in cases where noted. Please open an online web request to get started.
Note that the web team will integrate the requested integration(s) onto your website, however, all data and content entry is the responsibility of the website maintainer and/or content provider.
Charts
Use this system to display various types of numeric data on your website. Available formats include doughnut, bar, line, and stacked line charts.
Course Catalogs
If you are an academic area and your content is in the USD course catalogs, it can be embedded onto your website. Available information includes your programs overview, major information, minor information, requirements, and courses.
Degree Finder
Use the Degree Finder to list your available programs, certificates, and/or credentials. Note that this system is available to the College and schools at USD for integration on your websites.
Directory
Use this to display a faculty, staff, or student listing on your website. You can display personnel by alphabet or by group depending on the tagging of entries in the directory system.
Scholarship and Research
This system serves faculty and student scholarship, publications, and research to the USD website listed alphabetically by faculty name. Current output types include Bluebook and Associated Press styles.
MyPostings
MyPostings serves news, events, announcements, and other forms of communication throughout the USD website. Content can feed into the USD News Center or, if you are a content provider from one of USD's academic areas, your school's news center.
Student Design Projects
The Student Design Projects system can be used to output content that highlights research and other hands-on collaborative opportunities and work at USD.
Student Internships
This system serves student internship opportunities to the USD website. Note that content must be tagged through Handshake, a system managed by the Career Development Center.
Student Organizations
This system feeds student organization content to the USD website, including clubs, honor societies, and other communities that students can join as part of their time at the university.
Student Scholarships
This system serves student scholarships on the USD website. Options can be both internal and external. Only scholarships for which students can apply are permitted in the system.
Study Abroad
This system outputs study abroad options at the university by country, term, or region of the world. Note that the data source for this content is StudioAbroad through the International Center.
