USD COVID Testing Guidelines

The information provided below is a step-by-step guide for those who are required to participate in weekly COVID-19 testing on campus:

• Appointment invitations will be sent out on Thursdays via email to schedule a COVID-19 test for the following week. 

• The app, QuickBase, will serve as the registration portal for all tests and appointments. Download the QuickBase app here to make an appointment. 

• Pick up your COVID-19 test kit outside of the One Stop Student Center on the date/time of your appointment to receive a testing kit which will include a testing tube, straw and alcohol wipe. Do not eat or drink anything 30 minutes prior to testing. 

• Using the QuickBase app, scan the barcode on the testing tube. 

• Insert the straw into the testing tube and spit into the testing tube until it is halfway full. 

• Close the tube and throw the straw away in the trash.

• Use the provided alcohol wipe to gently wipe the tube of any saliva on the outside, do not scrub off barcode. Throw the alcohol wipe in the trash. 

• Place the tube in an upright holder rack outside of the One Stop Student Center.

• Test results will be available within 1-2 days via the QuickBase app.
