Pope Francis Project - Open Listening Sessions

Pope Francis Project for Human Dignity

General Information

Spring 2026 Open Listening Sessions

Over the course of 2026, the Pope Francis Project will build on the success of the Horizon Project by continuing to emphasize the University of San Diego’s commitment to inclusive excellence and upholding the dignity of every person. Consistent with the synodal process embraced by the late Pope Francis, the work of USD's Pope Francis Project Task Force will anchor in three principles: communion, participation and mission.

All members of the USD community are invited to join an open listening session as we engage the campus community in listening and dialogue. Each interactive session will engage community members in their ideas around the responsibility we hold to ensure the dignity of every person and the barriers that exist to attaining a true sense of belonging.

Employees can bring their T.E.C. Journey Book to earn a "Tradition" stamp!
