This fall, students from the University of San Diego - Knauss School of Business and CETYS Universidad participated in a dynamic, two-day cross-border exchange designed to foster academic collaboration, cultural understanding, and hands-on global learning.

The first day, hosted by the Ahlers Center at USD, gave CETYS students the opportunity to engage with Knauss faculty, explore our campus, and participate in joint workshops with USD students, further enhancing cross-cultural learning and building meaningful academic connections.

The second day, hosted by CETYS Universidad, welcomed USD students to their campus for tours, interactive sessions with CETYS faculty, and collaborative teamwork activities focused on the Circular Economy. The highlight of the day was an industry visit to Foxconn, the world’s largest manufacturer of consumer electronics, where students observed the entire production process of large flat-screen TVs firsthand.

A special thank you to CETYS partners, including Dra. Mara Robles, Coordinadora de la Lic. en Negocios Internacionales Global Program, for facilitating this exchange. Through these immersive experiences, students from both institutions gained valuable insights into international business practices, strengthened their professional networks, and contributed to a lasting collaboration across the CaliBaja region.

Together, USD and CETYS continue to build bridges in business education, preparing the next generation of leaders for a globally connected world.
