Professor Matsunaga is an attorney in the Corporate and Tax practice at Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson (CGS3), a boutique commercial real estate law firm based in San Diego, where he practices corporate structuring, partnership tax, and commercial real estate transactions with an emphasis on tax planning and entity structuring. Professor Matsunaga has published a variety of articles on topics of the Corporate Transparency Act and FTC Non- Compete Rule and was a recipient of the 40 under 40 award from SD Metro Magazine in 2024. Prior to becoming an attorney, Professor Matsunaga was a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting, serving Fortune 100 companies on their most pressing strategic and operational issues. He also worked for Sonder USA Inc., a publicly traded hospitality company, where he led market operations.
