Lady fingers is an attractive succulent that grows about 1 foot tall and displays cylindrical leaves. These fleshy leaves are about as thick as a pencil. White flowers emerge from a stalk that rises above the cylindrical leaves. This succulent grows well in rocky slopes and soil, as well as outcrops ledges. You can find lady fingers in the coastal sage scrub, chaparral and woodland communities of southern California.
