San Diego Loyal Professional Soccer Club Suits Up in Torero Stadium When the San Diego Loyal take the field to kickoff their inaugural game on Saturday, March 7th, the new United Soccer League Championship (USL) franchise will take home field in the University of San Diego’s Torero Stadium. The Loyal will face the Las Vegas Lights in front of an estimated 6,500 fans. ![]() One of 35 professional soccer teams in the new USL, the Loyal are scheduled to play 17 regular season home games between March 7th and October 4th. The team will be led by Head Coach Landon Donovan, a former member of the U.S. Men’s National Team.
