Through the Community Contributions Committee, USD promotes and sponsors several community events throughout the year that align with the mission and vision of University. Two annual sponsored events include the Linda Vista Multicultural Fair and Parade and the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Educator's Breakfast.
The Office of Community and Government Relations coordinates USD's footprint at these events providing student, staff and faculty volunteers to participate in the event in addition to providing information booths with free legal services, health screenings and other services as needed. Our neighbors and community partners often join with us as we proudly represent USD.
