Trainings and Compliance
Various trainings are required as an employee of Auxiliary Services. Trainings vary by department and position. Your supervisor will communicate to you which trainings you need to participate in.
- If your job involves handling food, you are required to get a California Food Handler’s card within 30 days of your start date. Failure to do so will be grounds for termination.
- To get your card, you will need to take a short on-line class and pass a test. The certificate is good for 3 years and must be renewed before it expires. USD will give you a “token” to pay for the class and also allow you paid time to complete the training course and take the test.
