Torero Experience
Torero for a Day
The Torero Experience: Torero for a Day program will include having a current Torero who will accompany you for a part of the program. As a #FutureTorero, you'll have the opportunity to hear from current Toreros, eat lunch in our award-winning dining venues on campus and explore USD while making connections with your future peers.
Please note that this program is only open to students who have been admitted for the Fall 2026 term. As a reminder, you can only register for this event via the MySanDiego portal.

We are unable to entertain special day visit requests on any other dates. Due to limited space, please register as early as possible. Please do not make travel plans until you have received a confirmation from us.

Registration
Register via the MySanDiego portal. After logging in to the portal, visit the Admissions-Admitted tab and look for the "Admitted Student Events" section. When registering, please note that you must use the email address you have on file with USD in order for your registration to be successful. (This will be the email address we have been using to contact you.) If you encounter problems when attempting to register, please: (1) make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled, (2) try another web browser and (3) clear your web browser cache. If you still cannot register, please give us a call so that we can assist.
If you have not yet retrieved your MySanDiego username and password, please use the "Forgot Username/Password" link on the MySanDiego login screen, under "USD Applicants."

When arranging hotel accommodations, we recommend that you consider booking with Bartell Hotels. Owned and operated by an USD alumnus, Bartell Hotels offers discounted room rates to friends and visitors of USD and donates 10% of all total room costs back to the university in support of student scholarships.
