Fowler Business Concept Challenge

Energizing the Torero Entrepreneurial Spirit

The Fowler Business Concept Challenge (FBCC) energizes the entrepreneurial spirit of students at the University of San Diego — including majors from all schools. The sky is the limit on creative ideas and we encourage students to explore their entrepreneurship potential to make a positive impact on the world. Both finalists and semifinalists have the chance to win up to $45,000 in scholarships.

Fueling New Ideas

The FBCC takes place during the fall semester each year and is open to all current USD undergraduate and graduate students, sparking new ideas from all over campus. No idea is too small — we'll help you develop your entrepreneurial potential throughout the process.

The Challenge: Pitch a Business Concept

The FBCC is for students with all kinds of business ideas. These can include the more traditional, commercial venture ideas such as business-to-consumer models as well as business-to-business models, technology-based ventures, and business for good models. The possibilities are endless for your creative ideas.
