The University of San Diego is home to the John M. Ahlers Center for International Business, one of the few of its kind in the world. Globalization has increased the need for managers possessing the special skills and knowledge necessary for handling the challenges and opportunities of today’s international marketplace. The Ahlers Center provides a number of business programs to strengthen the proficiency of faculty, students and the business community, including a Certificate in Global Strategy and Management series, International Scholars and Executives-in-Residence Programs, and business and management courses on four continents. Activities sponsored by the center link faculty, students and international business leaders in the sharing of ideas and the development of knowledge, allowing them to operate more effectively in a global business environment.

Respected as a high-quality real estate center for its cutting-edge research and industry outreach, the visionary Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate is dedicated to being the region’s focal point for advancing socially responsible leadership in real estate. In addition to undergraduate and graduate education, the center offers a nationally recognized conference series, industry relevant research, a certificate in real estate finance, investments and development, and a certificate in land use and sustainable community development.

Center for Peace and Commerce

A collaboration between the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies and the School of Business Administration, our mission is to prepare new generations of “change-catalysts” building a sustainable world through innovative thinking and action, integrating business principles and effective management with unique ideas for peace building and poverty alleviation.

The University of San Diego Supply Chain Management Institute is committed to helping organizations achieve world-class supply chain performance. Focusing on the development of strategies and techniques in integrated supply, operations, logistics and strategic account management, the institute strives to be the preferred source for individuals and organizations seeking to develop executive-level competencies. This is achieved through applied research, collaborative business partnerships and rigorous educational programs. In addition, the institute boasts an international faculty network, prominent guest speakers and a leading development program for industry professionals, all with the goal of building the institute’s wide practitioner, academic, alumni and student networks into a community of leading-edge professionals.

The Accountancy Institute offers a variety of personalized educational opportunities including the Tax Boot Camp, a Certificate in Financial Planning and other continuing professional education programs. These, as well as other networking and personal growth opportunities, are available to our current students, our alumni and other professionals from San Diego’s accounting community.
