Transferable Coursework Search
We are pleased to be able to provide you with the following search tools to assist in the transfer process! These tools will allow you to search for classes that are transferrable to USD from any two-year college or institution from which we have previously approved the transfer of completed coursework. There are two ways to search for classes:
- Click here to search for transferable classes by the name of your current two-year college or institution. Classes in this search are based on previous transfer credit analyses.
- Click here to search for transferable classes by the USD course equivalent. Please refer to the 2014-2016 Course Catalog when utilizing this search tool, as you will need to enter the exact USD subject code and course number for the class that interests you.
USD maintains articulation agreements with the Southern California colleges listed below. These agreements identify transferable coursework that satisfies USD's general education requirements. While courses in these agreements are not required to apply to the University, they should serve as a guide to help applicants stay on track with USD graduation requirements.
Currently at USD, the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Business do not accept online courses at the undergraduate level.
Students hoping to transfer to USD can receive additional advice about coursework choices over the phone by contacting the admissions office at (800) 248-4873 or (619) 260-4506.
Important Information for First-Year Applicants
First-year applicants should note that college coursework taken while in high school may only be considered for credit at USD if taken after the student's sophomore year and in addition to high school requirements. College coursework will not be eligible to transfer to USD if it served to satisfy any high school graduation requirements.
