As a Torero, your college experience will take you far beyond the classroom. You'll live, study and explore as part of a tight-knit community of students from across the nation and around the world. The admission process at USD is a holistic one; we consider many factors in identifying a student's strengths, abilities and passions. We offer many different types of scholarships to students. Need-based financial aid may also be available to students and families who choose to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Student Support Services is jointly funded by the U.S. Department of Education and the University of San Diego to serve eligible undergraduates at USD. The program provides opportunities for academic development, assists with college requirements, and serves to retain and motivate students towards the successful completion of their post-secondary education at USD. Student Support Services are offered to the following groups: first generation, low income, students with disabilities, and underrepresented populations.

USD and Student Wellness place great importance on providing students with the programs, experiences and support services necessary to help them maximize their educational experience, and to challenge them to develop knowledge, values and skills to enrich their lives. Student Wellness seeks to support student academic success and personal development by providing a comprehensive and integrated range of wellness programs, experiences and services.

Restorative justice is a way to prevent or respond to harm in a community with an emphasis on healing, social support, and active accountability. The USD Center for Restorative Justice prepares the next generation of diverse leaders and provides research, academic coursework, training and technical assistance for projects within and beyond higher education.

We are happy to be connected with the San Diego office of the California Department of Rehabilitation. This department offers extra resources and benefits for our students who would like assistance due to learning disabilities, mental health struggles, and other needs.
