Application Process
Apply for the National Scholarship online
If you are a high school or college student and you meet the program entrance requirements, apply for the National Scholarship by visiting https://www.netc.navy.mil/Commands/Naval-Service-Training-Command/NROTC/
Apply to NROTC affiliated institutions
The National Scholarship application requires prospective students to list 5 NROTC affiliated college universities. It is highly recommended to apply to these universities as early as possible.
Apply for the College Program
The College Program is a way for non-scholarship students to become part of the NROTC program. College Program students participate in NROTC in the same manner as National Scholarship students and compete for 3,2, and 1 year "side-load" scholarships while a part of the program. (Note: College Program students who qualify for, and are accepted into, the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program are automatically put on National Scholarship as early as 30 months before graduation) Successful completion of the College Program earns the graduate a Commission. Applications will be accepted until April 1st.
