EPIC completed five technical guidance documents for regional climate planning in partnership with the regional planning agency the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). The guidance documents enable consistent process and methodology for greenhouse gas (GHG) analysis across jurisdictions. Below are the five technical guidance documents. EPIC developed a technical appendix to the San Diego Regional Climate Action Planning (ReCAP) Framework that includes the methodology to estimate GHG emissions from the main emission-generating activities, a discussion of updating and revising GHG inventories for San Diego local jurisdictions, and recommendations for selecting emissions targets.
