Baseball

From the pitching and defense to their offense, the Toreros line-up runs deep, and the way they are playing this season certainly reflect their hopes to make it all the way to Omaha.  Some great games to check out include USD’s series against Santa Clara, Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s, and LMU.  Come out to Cunningham Stadium and enjoy some great baseball!

Men’s Golf

The Men’s Golf team looks to conclude their impressive 2012 season with play in Arizona and Hollister, CA. Standout performances included Alex Ching’s first place at the San Diego Intercollegiate and an overall team second place finish at North Ranch Intercollegiate. Softball

The USD Softball team steps back out on the field after an impressive last season record and second place finish in Pacific Coast Softball Conference (PCSC). This season they have been selected to finish in 2nd within the PCSC Coastal Division. The Toreros welcome back the majority of their lineup and pitching staff from a year ago. They will conclude their last two weeks of conference play, April 14th through April 29th, on their home field against Santa Clara, LMU, and Sacramento State. Come out on April 18th as Softball looks to take on cross town rival San Diego State at the USD Softball Complex!

Tennis

USD Men’s Tennis takes on a competitive schedule in the 2012 season, but only to their advantage, as they have recently jumped in the ITA national rankings from No. 31 to No. 16 with upsets against other ranked teams such as Texas and Rice.  The women’s tennis team also boasts a strong schedule for this season, and they look forward to taking on conference season as they begin to gain some momentum from the pre-season.  San Diego will also be the home of the 2012 WCC Men’s and Women’s Conference Championships, April 25-28 at Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma! Be sure to be there and cheer on both USD Tennis programs!

Track & Field

With new school records already being set, the 2012 season for Track & Field is starting off strong. They look to continue their record setting ways as the travel to San Marcos, Pomona, and Walnut in April.
