Allison Long Pettine

Allison Long Pettine is a Founding Partner of Ad Astra Ventures, an early-stage venture fund and accelerator that helps founders change the way they see themselves and the world in order to successfully fund, grow, and scale companies. Allison is also President of Crescent Ridge Partners, a venture fund that provides seed capital to early stage startups. She actively invests in entrepreneurs developing disruptive technologies across all multiple to build successful and sustainable companies. Prior to founding Crescent Ridge Partners, Allison was Vice President at Viscogliosi Brothers, a New-York based venture capital company focused on cutting-edge orthopedic medical device technologies. She was previously part of the founding team and Director of Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning at Paradigm Spine, a startup that developed non-fusion spinal implants to treat degenerative and deformity spinal disorders. Allison holds a B.S; B.A, Management Science; Psychology from UC San Diego and an M.B.A from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Vidya Dinamani

Vidya Dinamani has a passion for coaching product leaders and teams. She is one of the founding partners of Ad Astra Ventures. Vidya is also Principal with Product Rebels – a company founded to help product managers, founders and entrepreneurs made customer breakthroughs. Vidya has also recently been focused on investing and mentoring startups and early stage company’s. She has over 18 years of experience specializing in business & technology strategy development and product design, development and management. Vidya has held multiple executive roles at leading companies, including executive positions leading Innovation and Product Management at Mitchell International, Director of Customer Experience for TurboTax, Intuit. She also served as Director of Business Operations and Chief IT Architect for the software provider. Prior to Intuit, Vidya was a consultant with Deloitte Consulting specializing in technology/strategy consulting. A holder of 7 US patents for software technology, Vidya earned a B.S. in Physics from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, and a Masters from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also a certified Net Promoter Associate.

Dr. Silvia Mah

Dr. Silvia Mah, PhD, MBA, is a founding partner of Ad Astra Ventures, that aims to “get to even” for high achieving women. Dr. Mah also serves as Executive Director of Hera Labs, an accelerator for women-owned businesses; founding member of Hera Angels, a female angel investment group; Investment Committee member of Next Wave Impact, a social impact venture fund; and an angel investor to over 30 startups who have diverse founders on the leadership team. Dr. Mah’s own success includes producing a globally-recognized podcast, She Invests!, highlighting the investment journeys of female angel investors and venture capitalists; serving for 2 years as the Student Programs Diversity Director at the Office of Innovation and Commercialization’s The Basement, a technology accelerator for undergraduate startups at UCSD; & Fund Manager for the San Diego Angel Conference, a new angel fund to activate regional capital from aspiring and existing angel investors. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Mah believes in integrating family and work to create a lifestyle that serves both with a strong cup of integrity.
