Citizens' Climate Lobby

Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) is a non-partisan, non-profit, grassroots organization focused on lobbying for climate change legislation. The organization is open to all students wanting to learn more about climate change and grassroots lobbying.

Current Projects

The current goal of USD's CCL chapter is to have President Harris endorse the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, getting the bill that much closer to being passed into law. CCL has presented on the wide ranging effects of climate change and hosted USD Professor Christopher Carter to speak about the Anthropocene and correct activist terminology.
