Happy (plant-based) Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Toreros!  This holiday season, we’re especially grateful for the beautiful planet that we get to live on.  To keep it that way for generations to come, consider adding some plant-based side dishes to your family’s traditional turkey dinner.

One study by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) found that animal agriculture, which includes dairy products, is responsible for approximately 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. This is roughly equivalent to the amount of emissions created by the fuel burned by ALL the world’s transport vehicles, including cars, trucks, airplanes, boats, and trains.
