USD Donates 37,000+ Pounds During Move Out

DAV workers

While moving out of on-campus housing in May, many USD students donated items to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) via collection bins placed throughout campus.  DAV is a nonprofit charity that distributes donations to their four local thrift stores and then uses the proceeds from the thrift stores to support disabled veterans and their families (physically, mentally, and socially) in San Diego County.  Donations on campus exceeded 37,000 pounds.  A significant amount of food was also donated to the USD food pantries during move-out.  Thank you Toreros for your generosity!
