About the Program

A board chair assumes the role of one of the most challenging and impactful leadership positions in the sector. A good board chair inspires a shared vision, builds and nurtures future board leadership and manages the dynamics of the board. It demands high-engagement, commitment, and self-awareness. It also requires strong relationship building and facilitation skills. Our format provides participants with a supportive, team-oriented environment to share their insights and gain practical solutions while supporting one another in elevating their role as board chairs. Conversational in style, the sessions will be facilitated by faculty, and include tools and assessments for leadership development.

The Board Chairs Learning Group will meet monthly on the third Wednesday of each month, starting with an information session on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 11am-12pm.
