Innovate Up is a program of the Brink SBDC at the University of San Diego in partnership with the County of San Diego designed to lift-up the communities of Chollas, City Heights, Encanto, Linda Vista, Rolando Park, and Redwood Village.

Innovate Up is more than a short-term incubator or accelerator. Innovate Up takes a deep dive by supporting and investing in entrepreneurs and businesses over several years.

Innovate Up is confidential and offers free cost training events to the many individuals looking for information to start a business, navigating government contracting process, or guidance of the U.S. financial system.

How does it work?

Over the next year (through June 30, 2020), on almost every Wednesday or Thursday, intensive small group meetings will be held in the targeted communities. Locations will include public schools, community non-profits, libraries, businesses and churches.
