We are so excited you are interested in serving our USD community by being a Commuter Assistant, a part of the OLE! Team, a Resident Assistant, a Scholastic Assistant, or a Transfer Scholastic Assistant?

 

These student leader roles are vital in providing important programs and services to the campus community. With the talent, energy and spirit of our student leaders, our university stands well-positioned to provide a true liberal arts education that challenges students to “learn broadly and think deeply.”

RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION TIMELINE

January: Student Leader application opens

February: Student Leader Informational Sessions hosted 

February 9: Application Deadline at 11:59pm

February 20 & February 22: Individual Interviews

Early March: Decision Letters sent

March 15: Acceptance of Student Leader position

 

INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS

It is required for each student applicant to attend one of the following informational sessions to be considered for any of the leadership roles above.

  • Thursday, January 30th, 4pm-5pm, UC107
  • Friday, January 31st, 3:30pm-4:30pm, UFMC
  • Saturday, February 1st, 11:30am-12:30pm, Mata’yum Crossroads
  • Monday, February 3rd, 8pm-9pm, UC107
  • Tuesday, February 4th, 6pm-7pm, UC107
  • Wednesday, February 5th, 8pm-9pm, UC107
  • Thursday, February 6th, 12:30pm-1:30pm, Mission & Ministry Center Multipurpose Room
