Student Leadership Opportunities
The Residential Education team has many opportunities for Student Leadership, including Resident Assistants (RAs), Scholastic Assistants (SAs), and Transfer Scholastic Assistants (TSAs). Whether you become a RA supporting students in the residence hall or a SA or TSA supporting students’ academic transition, we collectively serve our campus community.
Welcome Team (Summer 2024)
Welcome Team is a group of enthusiastic, caring, and spirited Toreros who help first year and transfer students unload their belongings into their new home. Welcome Team members are part of the first experience new students and their families have at USD.
Welcome team members continue the great tradition of Toreros welcoming Toreros. They receive a free t-shirt, $75 in campus cash, and, if they live on campus, they get to move in early (August 28) at no additional cost. Commuter students receive $100 in campus cash.
