Your Motivation

No matter what major you are pursuing as an undergraduate at USD, you can jumpstart your purpose-driven career through the Master of Arts in Social Innovation Combined Degree Program. As a combined degree student, you can earn graduate credits towards a Master of Arts in Social Innovation while pursuing your Bachelor's degree at USD.

How does it work?

Enrolled students take up to 12 units of graduate course work in the Master of Arts in Social Innovation (MASI) program during their junior and senior years and also apply those courses to their upper division undergraduate degree requirements as elective units. The graduate units earned in the combined degree program will be applied to the MASI degree requirements upon graduation with a Bachelor’s degree. As a full-time graduate student, the MASI program can be completed in 9 months post-undergraduate with a lighter academic load of 18 units to complete (as opposed to completing 30 units of graduate coursework in 9 months full-time).
