alejandrx cervantes joined the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice in fall 2021 as the Business and Operations Manager and will manage a growing portfolio of programs, while ensuring the Kroc IPJ continues to develop a high-performing organization.
Originally from San Diego, alejandrx joined the University of San Diego in fall 2005, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2009 from the College of Arts & Sciences. Shortly after this in 2010, alejandrx rejoined USD and served as the executive assistant to the assistant vice president for Student Wellness for almost 11.5 years in support of the health and well-being of our student community. During this time they earned a master’s degree in Leadership Studies from the School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) at USD in 2018.
