Spring Orientation

This program is specially designed for incoming first-year and transfer students starting in Spring 2020. We want you to get the essential information you will need to make a smooth transition to USD. Our goal is for you to:

  • Prepare for classes: Prepare for academic success by connecting with the deans and faculty in your school or college.
  • Meet your community: Meet the student leaders, faculty, and staff who are here to support you, this semester and beyond.
  • Connect with resources: Receive information about essential resources and connect with campus departments to ensure you have a great start at USD.

All new students are required to attend Spring Orientation. Please note, if you are an international first-year or transfer student, you are required to attend both International Orientation and Spring Orientation, which will take place on separate days. Visit the Office of International Students and Scholars for more information on International Orientation.
