USD Campus

Come to campus early to take care of any campus errands you need to complete. Suggested errands include paying your bill, getting your campus ID card, and buying your textbooks.

Resident Student Housing & Orientation Check-In

Mission Crossroads

New resident students must check-in between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Housing Office located in the Mission Crossroads building.

12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Commuter Student Orientation Check-In

Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice (KIPJ) Rotunda (Lobby)

Orientation check-in for all new students commuting to campus (not living on campus).

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Parent & Family Reception and Meeting

Meet the Office of Parent Relations staff and other university administrators as they share their insights about USD and suggest how to effectively support your student’s educational experience.

MySanDiego Portal, Uachieve, and Financial Aid (transfer students only)

Learn to navigate the MySanDiego Portal and Uachieve, the University’s degree audit reporting system, and hear helpful information regarding financial aid.

Mandatory Freshman Preceptorial Meetings


Meet your preceptor (professor) and learn more about this unique course.

The Professional Development Passport Program is a graduation requirement for all undergraduate students in the School of Business Administration at USD. This mandatory orientation will provide information on program events and requirements.
