Meet the team designing orientation!

We're so excited to welcome you to USD! The team below is working hard to create an orientation experience that is unique and valuable to your transition.

Allie hails from the Central Valley, California, and is a very happy San Diego transplant! She graduated from USD in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a double major in Theology and Religious Studies and Spanish. She is currently a masters candidate in USD's Higher Education Leadership program. She held many student leader roles as an undergraduate, and has been part of seven OLE! Weekends! 

In her free time, you can find Allie enjoying the amazing San Diego weather, living out her passion for health and wellness, discovering new coffee shops, and still mourning the end of Game of Thrones.

Andrea is a graduate assistant for new student orientation and is in her second year of the Higher Education Leadership masters program. In her undergraduate career, Andrea attended UC Santa Barbara as a transfer student and earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology. She is passionate about helping students feel a sense of belonging and helping them through their journey of personal and academic growth.

Andrea enjoys watching "Parks and Recreation", (her favorite character is Leslie Knope), singing karaoke, and eating donuts.

Photo of Mannie Brown Mannie Brown Graduate Assistant for Student Onboarding Mannie (They/Them/Theirs) is a Graduate Assistant for New Student Onboarding. They are a 1st year in the Higher Education Leadership Program. Prior to transitioning to USD, Mannie graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. They majored in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's studies with minors in Sociology and Philosophy. While in undergrad, Mannie was a part of many student organizations and found a large passion for Higher Education Student Affairs. They are passionate about activism, student belonging, and student wellness.
