Once you've completed the required steps on the Fall Transfer Checklist or Spring Transfer Checklist, you'll receive an email from your school or the College with an invitation for academic advising. Your advising meeting is your opportunity to ask questions and make a plan to start your academic career on the right step. Once you've met with your academic advisor, they'll lift the advising hold from your account so you can register for classes.

They'll give you the name of your assigned advisor and instructions on scheduling a one-on-one advising appointment, where you'll review your transferred units and make a plan for your first semester.

The Knauss School of Business does have prerequisites for many of its courses, so you may be asked to complete additional steps to ensure you meet those prerequisites. You'll work with the Advising Office to sign up for a group registration session and a one-on-one advising appointment, where you'll review your transferred units and make a plan for your first semester.
