Job Title: Van Driver
Pay Rate: $16.30/hr

Job Responsibilities:

Operates Mini-van to transport volunteer students between USD and various locations in the Linda Vista community
Acts as liaison between volunteers and the Mulvaney Center
Must make as many shuttle runs as needed - being prompt in transporting as well as returning students to campus
Keep accurate records of van mileage and student participation in Log Book provided
Knowledge of all project sites and daily activities
Attends all meetings and activities required of Mulvaney Center leaders
Help with distribution of flyers, distribution of campus mail, Xeroxing, answering phone and data entry
Meticulous attention to detail and well-organized
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in an intercultural environment
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team
Team player with commitment to seeing a project through to a successful conclusion
Implement antiracist, anti-oppressive, and equity centered pedagogical frameworks into all aspects of the role

Skills/Qualifications:

Responsible individual with a high degree of independent judgment
Excellent organization and communication skills; friendly and helpful
Ability to relate to youth who are from a variety of backgrounds with positive, helpful attitude
Punctual and dependable
Good record-keeping skills
Responsible individual who can work unsupervised
Good driving record (a DMV background check will be processed)

Additional Information:

Hours Needed: Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hours will be split between several van drivers
