Drop Shadow

Jerick Lee

Favorite trip/outdoor activity:

Backpacking in the Sierras this past Pre-O was definitely my most enjoyable trip. The lakes and mountains were unbelievable and we got incredibly lucky with the weather. Not to mention the bonding. The bonding was chill.

Favorite outdoor location in San Diego:

I love to go to Sunset Cliffs on a clear day and explore the cliffs and tide pools.

Three things you wish you knew prior to starting college:

  • Sleep is never a priority.
  • First impressions are misleading.
  • You can do a lot more in 24 hours than you could ever imagine.

Why did you join the guide program?

My roommate liked a girl that was in the program and dragged me to a meeting. I never ended up finding my way out of the office.

Weirdest food you have created and/or ate:

I ate a live worm once on the guide training trip to the channel islands. The peer pressure was brutal.
