Master of Science in Health Care Informatics

Healthcare informatics is an emerging interdisciplinary field that resides at the intersection of computer science, knowledge management, and healthcare. Its sole purpose is the automation, management and improvement of health information in the support of health care delivery. To meet the strong demand for professionals with advanced education in health care information systems, the Health Care Informatics MS program has been developed. The program is cross-disciplinary and draws faculty from healthcare, business, engineering, and computer science to prepare future professionals with the technical, analytical, and innovation skills necessary to provide future leadership.
