Post-Master’s Certificate in Emergency Care for Family Nurse Practitioners
Admission Criteria
- MSN or DNP degree from an approved, accredited college or university
- Unencumbered, active California RN license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in emergency nursing, disaster/crisis management, military service or related work experience required
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completion of the university application for graduate admission
- Goal Statement
- One official transcript from each college or university attended
(An official evaluation by World Education Services (www.wes.org) is required for all international transcripts.) - Three professional recommendations (see application instructions)
- Résumé/CV
- Interview (qualified applicants will be contacted to interview based on initial review of their application)
- Evidence of specified immunizations and screening tests, a report of recent physical examination, and BLS and ACLS certification if admitted into the program
