Professor Feeler currently is completing her DNP degree at the University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. She received her MSN from Kaplan University and her BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Professor Feeler is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) where she will teach in the Simulation and Standardized Patient Laboratory and in students’ clinical practica. Over the years Professor Feeler has been a clinical instructor for Physical Assessment Simulation Laboratory, Skills Simulation Laboratory, and Psychiatric and Medical Surgical Nursing. Professor Feeler has been a Registered Nurse for over twenty-three years. She brings to USD a multitude and varied nursing experience, which includes staff, administrative, and nurse educator roles. She has held clinical positions in Telemetry, Outpatient/Ambulatory Care, Hospice, Home Health, Psychiatry, and School Nursing.
Professor Feeler began teaching nursing and health care education early in her career and enjoys teaching in classroom, laboratory, bedside, and clinical settings. Her Evidence Based Clinical Project focuses on the “Evaluation of Simulation and Technology Theoretical Frameworks.” She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honorary Nursing Society.
