begin quoteUSD played a big part in my journey as a Changemaker for my home islands.

In April 2022, the Obama Foundation Leaders Asia-Pacific program selected it's newest cohort of 35 leaders, and University of San Diego alumna Jacqueline Che is one of them! Jacqueline came to USD from Saipan and received her Bachelor's in History in 2009 and her Master's in Higher Education Leadership from SOLES in 2011.

The Obama Foundation Leaders Asia-Pacific program "focuses on building a tightly-knit cohort, while simultaneously supporting individuals, uniting leaders from across Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and Oceania to engage in values-based leadership discussions, skillbuilding for social change, and hands-on workshops". Jacqueline Che '11 (MA) represents the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) in the 2022 cohort.
