U.S. News Ranks 8 USD School of Law Specialty Programs in Top 25% Rankings

SAN DIEGO (March 31, 2021) – The U.S. News and World Report selected eight University of San Diego (USD) School of Law specialty programs for their top 25% of the 2022 Best Graduate Programs rankings. The programs are Intellectual Property, Constitutional Law, Tax, Business and Corporate Law, Criminal Law, International Law and Contracts, and the Part-Time program. Two additional specialty programs are near the top 25%, Trial Advocacy and Health Care.

"I am delighted that our outstanding programs are receiving this type of well-deserved recognition," said Dean Robert Schapiro.  “Our exceptional faculty and students ensure that these areas of distinction shine brightly.  Several of these programs ranked even higher this year, continuing their increasing trajectory of excellence.

The U.S. News' Best Law Schools rankings evaluate institutions on their successful placement of graduates, their faculty resources, the academic achievements of entering students, and opinions by law schools, lawyers and judges on overall program quality. The rankings measure 193 law schools that are fully accredited by the American Bar Association, or ABA.
