USD School of Law Named to’s 2021 Top 50 Go-To Law Schools for Big Firm Jobs

SAN DIEGO (March 12, 2021) – The University of San Diego (USD) School of Law was recently named to’s list of the top 50 “Go-To Law Schools” for placement in top firms. Law schools qualify for this ranking based on the percentage of newly graduated JD students working in associate roles at the nation’s largest 100 law firms. With 22 recent USD School of Law graduates landing coveted associate jobs at the top firms, USD ranked 50th in the nation. USD appeared on this ranking for the first time this year, and it is one of only eight schools in California to make the list.

Each year, USD educates approximately 800 Juris Doctor and graduate law students from throughout the United States and around the world.  The law school is best known for its offerings in the areas of business and corporate law, constitutional law, intellectual property, international and comparative law, public interest law and taxation.
