USD School of Law Announces New Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration Stephanie Kiesel ’11 (JD)

SAN DIEGO (March 2, 2021) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law is pleased to announce Stephanie Kiesel, ’11 (JD), has returned to USD as Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration.  Her new position began January 4, 2021.

Stephanie returns to USD after serving three years as the Chief Executive Officer for zero8hundred, a local area non-profit dedicated to supporting our military service members and their families as they transition from active duty service to civilian life.  

Previously, Stephanie worked for 14 years in the USD School of Business culminating in the role of Senior Director, Graduate Student Services and Operations.  She brings a wealth of experience, ranging from strategic long term planning to oversight of program operations, to human resources and a myriad of financial matters including developing forecasts, executing fiscal management and correcting, balancing and closing all financial accounts at year-end.

In addition to her law degree, Stephanie has a Masters in Public Administration, with concentrations in nonprofit management and public and nonprofit finance, from the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University in Virginia.

Stephanie is a welcome addition to our law school's strong administrative team.  Please join us in welcoming her back to USD.
