Alumnus Frederick Schenk '78 (JD) Elected President of the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates

SAN DIEGO (January 7, 2021) – University of San Diego School of Law alumnus Frederick Schenk, '78 (JD), was recently elected president of the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA is an invitation-only national association comprised of experienced judges and trial lawyers dedicated to preserving and promoting the civil jury trial. He will serve a one-year term as president of the local ABOTA chapter.

Schenk is a longtime partner with San Diego-based CaseyGerry, a firm with a long history of ABOTA involvement and five current members. He has been with the firm since 1983 and focuses his practice on products liability and serious personal injury cases. A specialist in auto collision litigation, he co-authored the LexisNexis California Automobile Litigation Handbook.
