Protecting Your Business and Family From Probate

David G. Greco

SAN DIEGO (July 17, 2020) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumnus David G. Greco, ’14 (JD), was a featured guest on an ExitCoachRadio.com podcast to talk about why business owners should plan ahead to prevent their businesses from having to go through the probate process if the worst happens.

Greco is an attorney in RMO LLP’s San Diego office, which he helped launch. He represents beneficiaries, as well as professional and corporate fiduciaries–e.g. administrators, executors, trustees, conservators, and guardians–in contested trust, estate, and probate litigation matters, as well as related estate administration issues. Greco also represents special needs / disabled students in special education, civil rights, and child abuse matters. RMO has offices in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Miami.

In the podcast, Greco David goes over a variety of proactive measures that can help you avoid probate and protect your loved ones. He explains why probate can be costly and extremely emotionally taxing, offering alternatives for both before or after catastrophe strikes. He shares the documents that you should absolutely have in place and keep updated in order to prevent a litigation nightmare. Greco also debunks why you shouldn’t simply use a template and should always opt for professional guidance.
