Volunteers Needed for Big Give Class Captains

Calling for Class Captains

SAN DIEGO (January 24, 2020) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law is seeking alumni volunteers to serve as Class Captains for the seventh annual Big Give—a 36-hour online fundraising campaign—Wednesday, April 1 - 2.

Class Captains lend their names as signatories on the Big Give email communications to their graduating class, rallying support for USD School of Law. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations drafts the messages and sends them out as written and will personalize based on Class Captains' preferences. In some cases, there will be more than one signatory per class.

Last year’s campaign was a tremendous success and raised over $372,000 for scholarships, key initiatives, and academic programs.

The Big Give officially kicks off at the Big Give Bash on Tuesday, March 31, 5:30 p.m., celebrating alumni, donors, and friends, in a lively environment including hosted dinner, desserts, and open bar.

If you are interesting in serving as your Class Captain, email Jeanette Nichols, Assistant Director for School of Law Annual Giving, by Friday, February 28.
